Apply to the University

Applying to UC Santa Cruz requires completing an online University of California application and submitting it on time per posted deadlines. UCSC is open for new freshmen and transfer students each fall quarter and to a limited number of transfer students only each winter quarter.

Fall 2010 Application Available Now!

Now through October 31 - Students can access the UC Application online and begin to fill it out and write their personal statements.

November 1-30 - Application filing period. Students may submit their completed UC Application online.

Students may apply to multiple UC campuses. There is a $60 application fee per campus ($70 for international students). Online fee waivers are available to qualifying students for up to four campuses.
