Favorite UC Santa Cruz moments:
Her college. "My college helped me find my community here. Through the core course, speakers, and events, it also allowed us to learn about diversity and to be open to engaging with our peers. I think the residential staff and the rest of my college community really fulfill their mission of creating a diverse community."

How UC Santa Cruz has changed her:
"At UCSC, I've been able to pursue my research using critical thinking and analysis skills. School wasn't that intriguing to me before I came here, but now that's changed. Whether I'm bringing in speakers, organizing students, or talking to professors, I feel my abilities have grown so much since high school."
