If you will be receiving a student loan(s) while attending UC Santa Cruz, federal regulations mandate that you complete Pre-loan Counseling. Pre-loan Counseling must be completed online at http://sbs.ucsc.edu. Take the counseling sessions that apply to the loan(s) you have accepted. Pre-loan counseling will provide you with important information and will help you to understand your rights and responsibilities toward your loan(s). Holds can also be placed on your enrollment and disbursements until this requirement is fulfilled. Please refer to: http://sbs.ucsc.edu for more information.
Disability Resources
