DESCRIPTION
Bay Tree Bookstore - The third bookstore location on campus in 36 years, the new Bay Tree Bookstore is built to accommodate the planned growth of the campus over the next 5 years. Three times the size of the former facility, it features expanded sales areas and services, a mini-mart, book buyback windows, the Student ID Card Service office, and UCSC's Digital Copy Service. The third floor of the building houses the Career Center, the Ethnic Resource Centers, and a suite of new conference rooms.

Graduate Student Commons - A first of its kind at UCSC, the new Graduate Student Commons combines lounges, study rooms, offices, and a brand new Whole Earth restaurant with coffee bar. Designed, funded an operated by graduate students, the Grad Commons provides a central location for graduate students to meet, study, and relax, and help build a stronger graduate community on campus.
