DESCRIPTION
Kresge, on the west side of campus off Heller
Drive, was founded on the principle of participatory
democracy to encourage a strong sense of community.
The college houses the Departments of Literature
and Women's Studies, the Writing Program, and
the Dickens Project. Facilities include the Town
Hall auditorium, the Transfer Student Resource
Center, a Food Co-op, and apartments for four
or seven students.
