DESCRIPTION
College Ten's theme is Social Justice and Community.
With the motto "justice for all" students
at College Ten pay special attention to individuals
and groups who are denied opportunities afforded
to more privileged members of society. Some of
the issues considered include racism, sexism,
poverty, greed, ethnic hatreds, violence against
gays, and environmental threats. Ccommunity involvement
is emphasized as a means of addressing social
injustices. Students interested in these issues
as their major area of study or as part of their
general education are encouraged to join the College
Ten community.
