Notes and advice to admitted transfers:

  • Visit our event calendar for newly admitted students and sign up for our many virtual events over the next few weeks.
  • Accept your offer of admission through our portal, my.ucsc.edu, no later than the June 1 deadline. Counselors and parents can view the process through the MyUCSC Portal Guide.
  • Keep in touch. Keep your contact information current. You update your contact information on my.ucsc.edu.
  • Watch for important dates! Keep a list of deadlines.
  • Participate in Slug Orientation (mandatory) and if possible, Transfer Edge (optional enrichment program).
  • Read your "Conditions of Admission Contract" carefully, as well as the FAQs associated with it, and ensure you meet those expectations.
