Congratulations to admitted students for winter 2020 (after September 15, 2019)!

Along with the celebration of admission comes the increased responsibility that is part of transferring to a university. During this transition time, keep in mind the following:

  • Accept your offer of admission through our portal, my.ucsc.edu, no later than the October 15 deadline.
  • Keep contact information current. You can update your contact information on my.ucsc.edu.
  • Keep a list of deadlines.
  • Explore UC Santa Cruz using our new admitted student website.
  • Take a student-led campus tour. If you can't attend in person, take a Virtual Tour.
  • Read your "Conditions of Admission Contract" carefully, and ensure you meet those expectations.

Winter 2020 Conditions of Admission Contract

Admitted students must review and agree to their Conditions of Admission Contract as posted in the MyUCSC portal.

If you have questions about your admission, please contact an admissions representative, as shown on our contact page. You may also contact Undergraduate Admissions or call (831) 459-4008.

Welcome, community college counselors and advisors! We hope that this page serves as a useful tool to help you guide your students through the admissions process so that they can become successful transfer students at UC Santa Cruz. At the transfer level, UCSC gives the highest priority for admission to community college students who present a well-planned course of study and a competitive grade point average, and who apply at the junior level.
