Come Visit Us This Summer!

eSlug Newsletter Summer 2015

We are always encouraging your students to come visit Santa Cruz and see our campus, but you and your family might want to visit too, and summer is the perfect time to go, even if it's only for a quick day trip. Following are some highlights on campus and in the community during the summer:

Campus ToursThe Admissions Office continues its Campus Tours Program on weekdays throughout the summer. Our informative student tour guides provide insight into the undergraduate experience, highlight our academic opportunities, and showcase our stunning campus environment.

Family campus tours are approximately one hour and thirty minutes long and combine walking and shuttle transportation throughout the 2,000-acre campus. Reservations are required and may be made online.

Group Tour reservations (tours for schools, educational programs, or community-based organizations with groups of six or more people) can be made online. Group tour requests are taken up to one year in advance.

Families should schedule a visit on one of our regular weekday tours, even if the group consists of more than five members.

Please note: If you're coming from Central or Southern California, you may find the mornings and evenings a bit chilly. Dress in layers, and if you're planning to visit campus, wear comfortable walking shoes for our hilly terrain.
