Situated for easy access to Services for Transfer and Re-entry Students (STARS) and the Academic Resources Center (ARC), the Transfer Community is our primary university housing option for transfers, regardless of their residential college affiliation.

Transfer Community residents benefit from an academically and socially supportive living/learning environment offering special programs designed just for transfers. Housing includes single, double, and triple rooms. As with all incoming transfers, incoming Transfer Community students for fall 2017 will receive a one-year university housing guarantee, as long as all deadlines are met.

In a recent survey, Transfer Community residents cited the following opportunities as the best features of the community:

  • live with other transfer students

  • experience living on campus

  • convenience: close to classes and on-campus resources

  • develop friendships and support networks
