FAFSA filing period opens
March 2, 2013 Deadline for submitting the FAFSA and the Cal Grant GPA Verification Form to receive a Cal Grant
March 2-May 1, 2013 UC Santa Cruz Financial Aid Office requests supporting documentation from applicants and sends preliminary aid estimates to most new freshmen (sent to most new transfer students March 1-June 1)
March 15-31, 2013 Fall 2013 admissions decisions appear on my.ucsc.edu for all on-time freshmen applicants
March 15-May 1, 2013 Fall 2013 admissions decisions appear on my.ucsc.edu for all on-time transfer applicants
March 20-21, 2013 CollegeWeekLive Spring Fair
April 1, 2013 Room and board rates available from Housing
April 11-13, 2013 Student-Initiated Outreach weekend for admitted students
April 5-13, 2013 UC Santa Cruz - Spring Spotlight - campus and college tours and drop-in hours with academic departments for admitted students

May 1, 2013 Frosh Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) due online at my.ucsc.edu
May 2013 Analytical Writing Placement Examination (AWPE) for all UC admitted frosh who have not yet satisfied the Entry Level Writing Requirement
Late May 2013 Frosh Housing contract deadline. Complete the online housing application/contract by 11:59:59 (Pacific Time) on the deadline date.
Early June 2013 Frosh Academic Advising and Enrollment information sent
June 1, 2013 Transfer Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) due online at my.ucsc.edu
June 4, 2013 Summer Orientation registration deadline
Mid-June 2013 Transfer Academic Advising and Enrollment information sent
Late June, 2013 Transfer Housing contract deadline. Complete the online housing application/contract by 11:59:59 (Pacific Time) on the deadline date.
July 15, 2013 All official academic records from new incoming students must be received at the UC Santa Cruz Office of Admissions
July 23-August 2, 2013 Summer Orientation for freshmen and their families
July 26, 2013 Summer Orientation for transfer students and their families
September 20 or 21, 2013 (approx.) Fall Move-in
