Sabatte Family Scholarship

The Sabatte Family Scholarship, named for alumnus Richard “Rick” Sabatte, is an undergraduate scholarship that covers the total cost of attending UC Santa Cruz, including tuition, room and board, books, and living expenses. Students are automatically considered based on their admissions and financial aid applications, and about 30-50 students are selected each year.

“This scholarship means more to me than I can put into words. I’m beyond grateful that so many people and foundations have come together to support me this year – it feels surreal.”
- Riley, a Sabatte Family Scholar from Arroyo Grande, CA
