Visiting Our Campus

A Message to Prospective and Admitted Students Planning to Tour Campus During Summer 2020

In light of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, Undergraduate Admissions is following our campus directive, effective March 10, to suspend any activities that will result in a gathering of 50 or more people. This includes Admitted Student Tours, Banana Slug Day, regular campus tours, and group tours. As an alternative, we recommend our Virtual Tour, hosted by our student tour guides. Ongoing virtual events are also available during summer for prospective and admitted students.

There is currently no official date for the resumption of campus tours. The health and safety of our visitors and of our campus community is our top priority. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Often cited as one of the most beautiful campuses in the world, UC Santa Cruz's physical setting offers a diverse blend of award-winning architecture and a natural environment of redwood forests, scenic ocean views, and open meadows.

Visiting UC Santa Cruz is the best way to experience the campus. We invite you to reserve a space on a student-led tour, or you can explore the links below to view the campus online.

Note about Campus Tours: We host visitors with disabilities and those requiring special accommodations. The tour includes transportation by bus and some rigorous walking. If you require special accommodations, please describe your needs in the text box provided when you reserve your tour.

Group Tour reservations (tours for schools, educational programs, or community-based organizations with groups of six or more people) can be made online. Group Tour requests are taken up to one year in advance.
