WEBINAR: EOP and First-Gen Support

Join us for EOP and First-Gen Support and Advising: From Early Start to Finish! Navigating college as a first-gen student can feel like a whirlwind, but you don't have to do it alone. UC Santa Cruz’s Educational Opportunity Programs (EOP) supports first-generation college students academically, personally, and professionally throughout their UCSC journey. In this webinar, we’ll introduce you to EOP, connect you with Science Excellence Advising for STEM majors, and share how you can start early with Summer Edge and how summer Financial Aid may help make that possible. All EOP students and families are invited to learn more about these support systems available as you begin your UCSC experience.

What we’ll cover:

  • Your EOP Community: Building a support network that lasts until graduation.
  • Science Excellence: Specialized academic planning for STEM majors.
  • The Head Start: The advantages of starting early with Summer Edge
  • Funding Your Future: Understanding summer Financial Aid.
