Visiting Our Campus

A Message to Guests Planning to Tour Campus During Spring 2021

In light of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, Undergraduate Admissions is following our campus directive, effective March 10, 2020, to suspend any activities that will result in a gathering of 50 or more people. This includes Admitted Student Tours, Banana Slug Day, regular campus tours, and group tours. As an alternative, we recommend our Virtual Tour, hosted by our student tour guides.

There is currently no official date for the resumption of campus tours. The health and safety of our visitors and of our campus community is our top priority. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Before coming to campus:

All scheduled and unscheduled visitors to the UC Santa Cruz owned or leased property must complete the UCSC Visitor COVID-19 Symptom Check Questionnaire prior to entering the campus for each day when entering the campus.

Visitors are defined as anyone who is not a UC Santa Cruz employee (faculty, staff and other academic appointees) or student, and who will be entering on-site at a UCSC owned or leased property. The following is the link for the online UCSC Visitor COVID-19 Symptom Check Questionnaire. Read frequently asked questions about symptom checks for visitors. Download a printable version of the symptom check questionnaire.
