September 19-22, 2024 (approx.) - Fall Move-in
September 20-25, 2024 (approx.) - Fall Welcome Week
September 26, 2024 - Classes Begin
Dates for students applying for winter 2025:
June, 2024 - Our website has information on the winter 2025 application filing period for sophomore and junior level transfer students, including which majors will be open for consideration.
July 1, 2024 - UC Application filing period opens for winter 2025
August 15, 2024 - UC Application filing deadline for winter 2025 (special extended deadline)
Mid-September, 2024 - Winter 2025 admission decisions appear on the my.ucsc.edu portal for all on-time winter 2025 applicants.
September 30, 2024 - Transfer Academic Update priority deadline for winter 2025.
October 15, 2024 - Deadline for winter 2025 admitted students to accept their offer via my.ucsc.edu.

August 1, 2024 - UC Application for Admission available online
September 1, 2024 - UCSC TAG Application filing period opens
September 30, 2024 - UCSC TAG Application filing deadline
October 1, 2024 - UC Application filing period opens for fall 2025
December, 2024 - FAFSA and Dream App filing period opens
December 2, 2024 - UC Application filing deadline for fall 2025 (special extended deadline for fall 2025 applicants only – ordinary deadline is November 30)
